OUR FINANCES

Home » About » Our Finances

Our congregation’s future is bright. And secure.

We are blessed that our congregation is fiscally sound. We have operated for decades with zero debt, no mortgage, and a lean budget to fund our broad menu of programs and services. Above all, we are committed to being as efficient, effective, open, and transparent as possible.

Currently our endowment is approximately $2,000,000. And with the success of the recent Atid Campaign, these enduring funds are also due to receive no less than $500,000 before 2023, as well as over $350,000 in legacy gifts.

Please consider supporting Congregation Beth El Fairfield with a meaningful contribution, or even creating a Named Restricted Fund to be used as you designate. Whether you give $18 or $18,000 or $18 million, your support will last for generations. Planned (legacy) gifts are also welcome. Please make a contribution today.

Endowment funds are invested and principal-protected in perpetuity (without exception), and only an approved percentage of the annual return is used.

If you have any questions about the synagogue’s finances, please contact Michael Arrow, Treasurer, at treasurer@bethelfairfield.org or Peter Burnim, VP of Finance, at finance@bethelfairfield.org.
