Membership is about belonging.
Beth El is much more than a place to pray. Here, you’ll make friends and enjoy the many social events we offer, including communal Havdalah celebrations, picnics, carnivals, dinners, services on the beach, and more. We are committed to the diversity of our community, and creating a warm and intellectually challenging spiritual & educational environment. Wherever you are in life, we know Beth El is a place you’ll love to call home.
Shy? Stick with us.
To help melt away any uneasiness that may come with entering a new environment, we have established The Ambassador Program to link incoming congregant families with an informal “buddy” for the first year of membership. We’ll say hello and chat (if you like) whenever you’re at services, a social event, or religious school dropoff/pickup. And, just as importantly, we’ll introduce you around. The goal is not only to help you and your family feel comfortable and welcome, but also to create and reinforce solid, high-level connections to the Beth El community for years to come.
Services and programming are open to all. But members have a voice in shaping this community, and demonstrate their commitment to its future, and to the future of Jewish values around the world.
Ready to learn more?
There’s no better way to get to know us than by joining us for a Friday night or Shabbat morning service, a daily morning minyan, or one of our many social or educational events. So stop by. You’ll surely enjoy a heartfelt welcome from the Rabbi, Dr. Stinson, and a number of warm and friendly members of the congregation.
