SINGLES and YOUNG FAMILIES
Young Families and Singles are a critically important part of our community.
In addition to those congregants now in their 20s and 30s who have grown up at Beth El Fairfield, we actively welcome those who come to us by circumstance, moving to the area for college or career.
Here you will find a home, possibly similar to synagogues you have attended before, or maybe just a bit different. But either way, we promise your experience will soon feel as warm and familiar as your own extended family.
You are the present and the future of our synagogue, and we strive to offer meaningful experiences for you, your friends, and your entire families. Your fellow 20-something and 30-something congregants regularly participate in — and often even lead — Shabbat services, as well as social activities like Guys’ Nite Out & Girls’ Nite Out, and annual events such as The Gala, our Community Seder, and the Comedy & Auction Night.
You are invited to participate in our Havurah program, creating new connections with others — of multiple generations or just your own — within our wonderful community. And our Adult Education programming presents interesting speakers, movies, and activities that often focus on what it means to start building a Jewish life in society today, as well as current topics and Israel.
And, for those who live out of town, we offer Hanukkah and Purim packages as well as teachings and messages from our rabbi. All are welcome to be a part of our Beth El family.
